Go to Sleep, Little Cat: A Cozy Bedtime Poem

A cozy, vintage-style illustration of a fluffy tabby kitten sleeping on a lace-covered windowsill next to an ornate grandfather clock. A glowing crescent moon and starry night sky are visible through the window, featuring a distant silhouette of Big Ben.

The moon is high and the stars are bright,
A little cat curls up for the night.
He stretches his paws and lets out a sigh,
As silver clouds go drifting by.
He closes his eyes and starts to purr,
The softest rumble in his velvet fur.
He dreams of gardens and butterflies,
Underneath the midnight skies.
So close your eyes and rest your head,
Just like the kitty in his bed.
The world is quiet, the night is deep,
It is time for little cats to sleep.
