60 F. degree days amaze me in the middle of Winter. It’s February 22, 2017 in Champaign, Illinois and I have my front door open, and the screen door window is cracked open. The windows in my kitchen are open. Stale indoor air baked by our furnace is filtering out and fresh air is flowing in. The sun is peeking out from behind fluffy white clouds. Birds are singing and my heart echos their music with joy. A little mini-renewal courtesy of Mother Nature.
Today I am grateful for unexpected warm days in February. It appears that a few of our cats are enjoying it too.

Same here in Providence R.I. hard to believe it’s February. Heating not going overtime$$$
RIGHT ON! I appreciate lower power bills too! =) =) =)
How wonderful, Maria! Always great to let fresh air in. When I lived in the DC area and days like this happened, I did the same thing: open the windows and doors and let the fresh air in. All the kitties — there were only 3 or 4 at the time! — would gather around the windows to sample the outdoor scents. And we all smiled! Here in Kauai, I’m grateful that the sun is out today — after a chilly (well, relatively) and overcast and dreary day yesterday.
