The author shares her thoughts on the HBO series “Band of Brothers.” Woven in to this are examples of experiences from members of her family. Contrasts between the 1940’s and present day life for people in general, and soldiers specifically are offered as food for thought. Pride for “The Greatest Generation” and her family’s part in it, is emphasized.
